Connect SAP Commerce to the systems your business runs on.
Real-time pricing, orders, customer and account data, order history and invoices — integration designed around timeouts, retries, idempotency and monitoring.
Where integration programmes go wrong
Commerce shows prices and availability that the ERP does not agree with. Orders fail silently and are discovered by customer service rather than monitoring. Point-to-point interfaces have accumulated, and nobody can describe the end-to-end flow. Every integration change needs three teams and a change window, so delivery slows to a crawl.
What we deliver
Integration architecture: End-to-end flow design, system of record decisions, synchronous vs asynchronous choices and contracts. SAP Integration Suite / CPI: iFlow development, mappings, protocol handling, security material and transport across environments. Commerce-side integration: OCC API extensions, outbound services, integration objects and data hub alternatives where appropriate. Error handling & retries: Idempotency, dead-letter handling, replay and reconciliation so failures are recoverable. Monitoring & alerting: Flow-level observability with alerts that reach the team who can act on them. Documentation & handover: Interface catalogue and runbooks your operations team can use without tribal knowledge.
Typical flows we build
Product & catalog: PIM to Commerce product, media and classification synchronisation. Pricing: Contract, list and volume pricing from ERP with caching and fallback strategy. Availability & stock: Real-time or scheduled stock views with agreed tolerances. Order management: Order submission, status updates, cancellations and returns across Commerce, ERP and OMS. Customer & account: Customer master, B2B units, credit status and account hierarchy alignment. Invoices & documents: Invoice, delivery note and document retrieval surfaced in self-service.
How we approach integration
Map the current landscape and agree the system of record for every data domain. Define interface contracts before building anything. Design for failure first: retries, idempotency, reconciliation and alerting. Build and test flows against real data volumes, not sample payloads. Instrument every flow so support can see what happened without reading logs line by line. Hand over documentation and runbooks with the code.
Integration questions
Do you only work with SAP Integration Suite? No. SAP Integration Suite and Cloud Integration (CPI) are our default when the landscape is SAP-centric, but we also build against existing middleware and API gateways when that is what you operate. How do you keep pricing consistent with the ERP? By deciding explicitly which system owns each price type, then designing caching, invalidation and fallback behaviour so the storefront never silently shows a price the ERP would reject. What happens when an integration fails? Flows are designed with idempotency, retries, dead-letter handling and reconciliation, plus alerting that reaches the responsible team. Recovery is a defined procedure rather than an investigation. Can you integrate non-SAP systems? Yes — PIM, OMS, payment and tax providers, CRM and logistics platforms are common parts of the same programme.
