Know what your platform is really carrying.

Risk assessment and executable recommendations across architecture, customisation, integrations, performance and delivery practice.

When an audit is the right first step

Delivery has slowed and nobody can point to a single cause. An upgrade or replatform decision is coming and the effort is unknown. You inherited a platform from another partner and need an independent view. Performance or stability issues recur, but fixes only ever address symptoms.

What the audit examines

Architecture & data model: Extension structure, item types, catalog design and where the model fights the platform. Customisation footprint: How far the implementation has diverged from standard, and what that costs on every upgrade. Integration landscape: Flow design, error handling, observability and the systems of record behind commerce data. Performance & scalability: Caching, indexing, query behaviour, job design and measured hot spots. Delivery & operations: Pipelines, test coverage, environment governance, monitoring and release practice. Upgrade readiness: Version distance, deprecated API usage, add-on strategy and a realistic sequencing.

What you receive

Findings report: Each finding with evidence, impact and severity — no generic checklists. Architecture view: A current-state diagram of platform, integrations and data ownership. Prioritised roadmap: Sequenced remediation with effort ranges and dependencies. Quick wins: Items your team can act on immediately, separated from structural work. Upgrade assessment: A costed view of what it takes to reach a supported release. Working session: A walkthrough with your architects and stakeholders, not a document drop.

How the audit runs

Agree scope, access and the questions you need answered. Review code, configuration, pipelines and monitoring data. Interview the people who build and operate the platform. Validate findings against measurements rather than impressions. Present the roadmap in a working session and agree the first moves.

Audit questions

What does an SAP Commerce architecture audit cover? Architecture and data model, customisation footprint, extension and add-on inventory, integration design, performance and caching, delivery pipelines and test coverage, operational monitoring, and upgrade readiness — delivered as an evidence-based findings report and a prioritised roadmap. What access do you need? Read access to the codebase and configuration, visibility of pipelines and monitoring, and short conversations with the people who build and operate the platform. Do you audit older Hybris versions? Yes. Older Hybris releases are common audit subjects, and the audit is usually the step before deciding on an upgrade path. Are you independent if you also deliver the fixes? The audit is a fixed-scope deliverable and the findings are evidence-based, so you can hand the roadmap to any partner. Many customers ask us to execute it, but that is a separate decision.
